The Vancouver Area Literature sub-committee (VALC) provides literature to all the Groups that are attributed to the Vancouver Area Service Committee (VASC). Among these are groups from Whistler and Squamish. One of the mandates of the VALC is to maintain an adquate inventory of literature, sufficient to meet the needs of the VASC Groups and to make that literature available at the monthly Area meetings.

It is also possible, if arrangements are made in advance, to collect literature directly from the storage locker where our inventory is kept. If an appointment is made with our Literature Chair, to collect literature from the locker on a Saturday, access would typically be over a 90 minute time span and usually at around 1:30pm. This timing and access is at the discretion of the Literature Chair.

The VALC is also at liberty to supply literature to individual members as well as to other interested persons or entities. Placing orders for literature is possible via telephone, the number of the Literature Chair is usually listed on page 3 of the Basic News.
